Message from the Vice Chancellor

UniSA has a central commitment to working with partners to improve social, education and economic outcomes for people who have been disadvantaged by the circumstances of their birth or their access to social resources.
We enrol more students from the north of Adelaide than any other University and have always worked with the communities of the north. In 2002 we decided it was time to adopt a more strategic, University-wide approach to our activities in the region. From this decision UNAP - UniSA Northern Adelaide Partnerships - was established.
The University has dedicated significant resources to
this initiative because we believe it is vital that all who live in
northern Adelaide are able to enjoy a future where they participate
fully in our society and share in its economic success. We believe that, as a
major South Australian institution, UniSA has a responsibility to work
with communities, business and other educational institutions in the
region
to help achieve this.
