NABEC Business Awards
The NABEC Awards recognize excellence by businesses in the manufacturing, retail, service, and professional sectors, and are organised by the Northern Adelaide Business Enterprise Centre. Businesses that win these awards are eligible for National Business Awards, sponsored by Business Enterprise Centres Australia.
In 2008 the NABEC Business Awards project enlisted 26 students from UniSA’s Division of Business to support 13 businesses in preparing their applications for the NABEC Awards. These awards were conferred on 2 July.

Australian Workforce Training (professional)
In addition, the SA Lending Centre won the Business of the Year Award, and competed in the national awards in Canberra.
