Who is eligible to apply for special consideration for an examination?

If you attend the exam and believe that your performance was affected by illness, disability through an accident and/or other special circumstances, you can apply for special consideration. Special consideration will only be considered if the student can provide evidence of unexpected and exceptional grounds, and is at the Unit/Course Coordinators discretion. Special consideration could include a deferred exam, another assessment, or other consideration as decided by the Course Coordinator.
The policy on special consideration is in section 7 (clause 7.5) of the University's Assessment Policies and Procedures Manual.
