The conference focused on three key areas: developing skills, current issues in practice, and value - accessing, demonstrating and enhancing your value in the field.

Bringing cases to a successful resolution. Issues surrounding disability discrimination.

presented by Graham Carr (Equal Opportunity Commission of South Australia)

Graham is interested in following up on an issue raised in his session regarding students with a disability having difficulty completing practical components of a degree (an example was discussed of a student with cerebral palsy studying nursing). Graham would like to raise this issue at the up-coming conference for the legal conciliators on 29 and 30 July.
If anyone has further information/examples regarding this, please contact him carr.graham@agd.sa.gov.au before mid-June so he can collate the information. Graeme is keen to encourage his colleagues to assist High Education practitioners in developing clearer policies on the issue.
