Moodle restore procedure
The following steps must be undertaken to restore learnonline course data. This applies to restoration of an entire course website and individual resources.
- Course Coordinator must obtain written endorsement from their Head of School or delegate (School Manager) that restoration is essential.

Log an IT Help Desk Service Call and provide the
following information:
- subject area and catalog number of the learnonline course e.g. MARK 1234
- learnonline course URL e.g. http://learn.unisa.edu.au/course/view.php?id=13645
- exact date and time that the data was deleted
- Head of School endorsement email attached to the Help Desk Service Call.
ISTS will retrieve data within approximately 10 working days, depending on the complexity of the restoration. An ISTS staff member will contact the Course Coordinator and negotiate a suitable time to restore the data to the course website.
