Supplementary Exams

7.2.1 Supplementary Exams - Assessment Policies and Procedures Manual 2008

The secondary assessment can be used to offer students opportunity to gain a supplementary pass (SP) in a course approved for supplementary assessment.

  1. The use of supplementary exams must be authorised by division board (or delegated committee) and reported to the Director: Student and Academic Services.  Authorisation will remain valid for that course unless revoked by the authorising committee, regardless of whether such an examination is needed during each delivery of the course, and must be specified in the course information booklet.

School of Nursing and Midwifery approved supplementary assessments courses:

Undergraduate Program: Health of Adults NURS 2023, Health of Older Adults NURS 2024, Scientific Basis 1 BIOL 2054, Scientific Basis 2 BIOL 2055.

International Program: NURS 1032  Australian Registered Nursing Program (ARNTP), NURS 1039 Australian Registered Midwife Program (ARMTP), NURS 1040 Australian Registered Nurse and Midwife Program (ARDTP).

Postgraduate Program: NASC 5002 Pharmacology for Advanced Practice, BIOL 2056 Physiological Adaptations in Pregnancy

 

Please note that no further assessment opportunities are available for students who have been provided with a supplementary, deferred or special consideration assessment.
