Scholarships

Scholarships are provided to high achievers and those most in need. Eligibility criteria and scholarship benefits differ for each scholarship.

School of Nursing and Midwifery Scholarships


Available to undergraduate first year students enrolled full-time

Available to undergraduate second year students enrolled full-time

Available to undergraduate third year students enrolled full-time

Applications for the above scholarships open at the start of February and close towards the end of March each year.

Pank Family Maths and Science Peer Coaching Scheme

2009 Information Flyer and Application
In 2009, 10 UniSA students from the School of Nursing and Midwifery will be given the opportunity to participate in the Pank Family Maths & Science Peer Coaching Scheme during Study Period 5. Two groups of 5 students (1 science tutoring group and 1 maths tutoring group) will meet for 2 hours per week for the duration of Study Period 5, 2009 to receive tutoring help from designated peer coaches who have been merit selected amongst current Year 2 and Year 3 science peer coaches.

Nurses Memorial Centre

The Nurses Memorial Centre is a 'living memorial' to the heroism and sacrifice of Australian nurses who gave their lives or spent years in Japanese prisoner-of-war campus during World War II. NMC has the dual role of being a caretaker to the archives of its unique history and being a responsible steward for the disbursement of scholarship funds to nurses wanting to pursue postgraduate study.

Nurses' Memorial Foundation of South Australia Inc. Scholarships

The Nurses' Memorial Foundation of South Australia Inc. offer grants annually to students undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate programs of study which will enhance the nursing profession and contribute to improved nursing care. The scholarships are offered through the Dr Roger Wurm Scholarship Fund. Applications open early February and close at the end of April each year.
