The School of Nursing & Midwifery offers several professional certificates covering a range of topics, for those nurses or midwives who wish to: gain skills & experience in specialised fields, educated overseas nurses who wish to enter the Australian workforce, or Australian educated nurses & midwives who wish to re-enter into the workforce.
Students who successfully complete a Professional Certificate may be eligible for credit in an award (degree) program.

Australian Educated Nurses/Midwives

Australian Registered Nurse Training Program (ARNTP) - leading to registration as a nurse in South Australia.

Australian Registered Midwife Training Program (ARMTP) - leading to registration as a midwife in South Australia.
These programs prepare Australian educated nurses and midwives with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable them to meet the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council (ANMC) Competency Standards for the Nurse or Midwife and gain registration as a nurse or midwife with the Nurses Board of South Australia (nbsa).
