Aims
The overriding aim is to facilitate your abilities to meet the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Council Competency Standards for the Registered Nurse.
Entry Requirements

Evidence of prior registration as a midwife with a Nurse Registration Authority in Australia within the last 10 years.

Must declare if are under review/investigation by a Nurses Board authority in Australia or hold a restricted licencse.
Program Overview
The University offers a unique program to prepare you to regain your Midwifery Practicing Certificate or update your skills at a time when the marketplace is keenly seeking midwives.

External or internal study with strong group and individual student support

Program is run 3 days a week for 13 weeks followed by 6 weeks supported clinical practice working full-time over a 7 day roster

This program is offered internally or externally in the full-time mode.
In 2009, this program is only offered in study period 4.
