The School of Nursing and Midwifery offers a wide range of postgraduate programs. Most programs can be undertaken by external or online study, on a full-time or part-time study load.

 

Nursing Specialisations

Specialisations offered in the Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Master of Nursing programs include cardiovascular nursing, critical care nursing, health and ageing, immunisation, leadership and management, nurse education and research methodologies.

Applications

Domestic Students

Applications to commence study in July 2009 are made via GradStart. Applications are now open and will close on Friday 3 July 2009. Applications to commence study in 2010 will open on Monday 10 August 2009.

 If you experience any problems with your application, please contact SATAC directly.

Please note that the previously used application process called "Apply Online" is no longer used for domestic postgraduate programs.

International Students

Programs available to International students

Applications are made directly to the University via Apply Online. More information regarding the application process is available on the UniSA International website.

Not all specialisations are offered to International students. International students in Australia on a Long Stay Business Visa 457 wanting to study specialisations only available externally/online must discuss their eligibility with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

Enrolment Advice

The School of Nursing and Midwifery has its own individual enrolment advice document for each postgraduate program.

 

Orientation

To support you in commencing your studies with us, we will be convening an Introductory Workshop for Postgraduate Students on Thursday 16 June 2009, which you may be interested in attending.We will introduce you to postgraduate study at UniSA and to the various services available to support you as a student at this university. This day will suit all commencing students particularly those new to university study, new to UniSA or for students who have had a gap in their studies.
