- Midwives from non-English speaking backgrounds are expected to have an IELTS 7 or equivalent score to register with the Nurses Board of South Australia. The English language exam, around week 15 of the program, will be an OET (Nursing Version) to test that students are at this level. Students must achieve a B pass in each subscore (i.e. speaking, listening, writing and reading). The ARNTP tuition fee will cover the cost of OET preparation classes and the OET test. Students who need to resit any component of the OET test will need to pay for further tests prior to registration.
