Shibo Vattappava Pavu, ARNTP Graduate
I
found out about the Australian Registered Nurse Program (ARNTP)
through an agency in India and have not looked back. I really
enjoyed the program and experience. I was made very welcome,
all the staff were very supportive taking into consideration I was
in a new country learning a new culture.
On my second day of arriving in Australia I attended classes and the lecturers helped me to get confident and improve my English skills. The facilities and computer systems were excellent and classes extremely well organised. The computer pools were available 24/7. The skills labs were well equipped and helped to familiarise students with working in a hospital. When I went on placement it did not feel strange as we had been well prepared and acclimatized in the skills labs on what to expect.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the School of Nursing and Midwifery and I promptly received any help needed. I was always given a quick reply to my emails. All my experiences were good with the program and with UniSA, I highly recommend this program to anyone thinking of applying.
I am very happy to just find out that I have been successful in securing a position with Lyell McEwin Hospital in the Medical and Palliative Care ward.
