Gretel Lim, ARNTP Graduate
My mother, Virginia Lim, is the Dean of Nursing and Midwifery
at Christ the King College in the Philippines and I was working at
the Heart Centre in Manilla. I wanted to come to Australia to
further my nursing career. My aunt came to Australia 10 years ago
and now lives in Adelaide. My mother and aunt recommended that I
apply and study at the School of Nursing and Midwifery at UniSA.
I conducted some research on the internet and put in my application.
Today I am very happy and proud to have graduated from the
Australian Registered Nurse Training Program (ARNTP) and my mother
came from the Philippines to see my graduation.
The program came highly recommended and I found it to be wonderful.
It was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to
others. The staff and support were excellent and the program covered
everything I needed to know to work in Australia. I have recommended
the UniSA ARNTP program to my friends back in the Philippines and
now they want to do it too.
