2009 Graduation - ARNTP, ARMTP and ARNTP Re-entry

The 2009
School of Nursing and Midwifery ARNTP, ARMTP and ARNTP Re-entry
graduation awards ceremony was held on Wednesday 15th April in the
Brookman Hall, City East Campus.
Fifty seven students commenced these programs in the last intake and
fifty one graduated on this day. A few commencing students are still
completing some of the program requirements before they can graduate.
The ceremony was a great success and an opportunity for the students and
staff to come together to celebrate the completion of their programs and
their successes before the next chapter in their nursing and midwifery
careers. UniSA and the School would like to congratulate all the
graduating students.
Dr Carol Grech, Program Director for International and Development for
the School of Nursing and Midwifery, acknowledged the academic and
professional staff members that contribute to the success and smooth
running of these programs. Dr Grech also thanked the staff members from
CELUSA, Division Health Sciences, Learning and Teaching Unit and the
Library, without their assistance and support the School could not run
these programs.
Dr Grech said the program required dedication and hard work to achieve
your goals and was proud of all the graduates and quoted Evan Esar
“Success is the good fortune that comes from aspiration, desperation,
perspiration and inspiration.” Dr Grech said “In the long term Australia
would be looking to international nurses to fill the gaps and skill
shortages in our workforce. Make a difference and be very proud of being
a graduate of the School of Nursing and Midwifery at UniSA.”
Dr Grech then presented the students with their graduating parchments
which was then followed by an afternoon tea.
