School of Nursing and Midwifery

Australia’s healthcare system relies on Registered Nurses and Midwives. These are highly skilled, dedicated and responsible people who are trusted members of the health profession. Their role includes making critical decisions, carrying out technical procedures, offering specialised care, leading community health care, facilitating healthy lifestyles and patient management.

In response to this environment, as the largest School of Nursing and Midwifery in South Australia, UniSA has led the way by recently rewriting our programs for Nursing and Midwifery which now give our graduates incomparable competence through hands-on experience and collaboration with our other health science disciplines.
