Step 2: Orientation

Orientation is essential for new students as it allows you to familiarise yourself with your campus, your program and the resources available to help you with your studies. At UniSA, Orientation isn't just a day or a week. It ends when you feel confident finding information, services and resources you need as a student. You can see links in the left-hand menu under Orientation that will take you to lots of valuable information for students starting at UniSA.

Welcome areas

The Welcome Area on your campus is a great place to meet Welcome Buddies and UniSA staff in a relaxed, informal atmosphere as well as gather information about life at UniSA, enrolment, or find accommodation. We highly recommend that you visit the Welcome Area on your campus to find out the latest information about orientation activities on your campus.

Study Period 5 (Midyear Intake)

From Monday 13 July 2009 there will be Welcome Areas on each metropolitan campus for all new students starting their studies in Study Period 5 (Midyear Entry). Opening hours will vary at each campus, so please check details at Orientation to UniSA for International students

Orientation information sessions

During your Orientation period on campus there will be a schedule of information sessions that will be of interest to students who are new to UniSA and Adelaide. These sessions include information on your program, how to be a succeed at UniSA, how to get around Adelaide or your campus, finding accommodation and how to use UniSA's online systems.

Study Period 5 (Midyear Intake)

Midyear orientation sessions will start from Monday 20 July 2009 at all metropolitan campuses. To find out about your program-specific orientation activities, click on the link to your School site below.
