Meet the Divisions and Portfolios

Divisions

There are four academic Divisions within the University:

Division of Business (BUE)

• Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice President: Professor Gerry Griffin
• Schools: Commerce, Law, Management, Marketing, and the International Graduate School of Business.
• Location: The Division's schools are located at the City West and Mawson Lakes campus.

Division of Education, Arts and Social Sciences (EAS)

• Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice President: Professor Pal Ahluwalia
• Schools: Art, Architecture and Design, Communication, International Studies and Languages, Education, The David Unaipon College of Indigenous Education & Research, Psychology, and Social Work and Social Policy
• Location: The schools are located on four of the five campuses of the University: Magill, City West, City East and Mawson Lakes.

Division of Health Sciences (HSC)

• Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice President: Professor Allan Evans
• Schools: Health Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery, and Pharmacy and Medical Sciences.
• Location: The Division's schools are located at the City East Campus, with some staff presence at Mawson Lakes campus and some teaching at Magill Campus.

Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment (IEE)

• Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice President: Professor Andrew Parfitt
• Schools: Advanced Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Electrical and Information Engineering, Natural and Built Environments, and Mathematics and Statistics.
• Location: The schools within the Division are located at the Mawson Lakes campus, City East, City West, and Magill campuses.

Portfolios

There are also five coordinating Portfolios within the University:

Academic

• Deputy Vice Chancellor & Vice President: Associate Professor Margaret Peters (Acting)
• Service providers: the service providers managed within this coordinating Portfolio comprise: the Learning and Teaching Unit, Student and Academic Services and the University Library.

Research & Innovation

• Deputy Vice Chancellor & Vice President: Professor Caroline McMillen
• Service provider: within this coordinating Portfolio is Research and Innovation Services and the University Research Institutes, Centres and Groups.

Finance and Resources

• Executive Director and Vice President: Mr Paul Beard
• Service providers: the service providers managed within this coordinating Portfolio include: the Finance Unit and the Facilities Management Unit.

International and Development

• Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice President: Dr Anna Ciccarelli
• Service providers: the service providers managed within this coordinating Portfolio include: UniSA International and the Marketing and Development Unit.

Strategy and Planning

• Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice President: Professor Hilary Winchester
• Service providers: the service provided within this coordinating portfolio includes: the Planning and Assurance Services; Information Strategy and Technology Services Unit and Centre for Regional Engagement.
