is about applying knowledge, skills, tools and techniques
to project activities to meet project requirements.
Most of the project management techniques we used today were developed during the 1950s and 60s by the US defence-aerospace industry. Many organisations adopt the project management techniques into their ongoing operations as projects (management by projects), increasing career opportunities.
This program is intended to provide an advanced study in generic project management using "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, 2000 Project Management Institute, USA" as a framework, and is designed to meet the knowledge requirement of international best practice for project management. It also provides the students with the opportunity to integrate and apply the knowledge to develop, organise and implement a work plan for research
