What will I study?
The program provides a broad understanding of processes of urban and
regional development and a grounding in the key areas of professional
knowledge and skill required by planners. Core areas of the program include
Planning Policy and Law, the Economics of Property Development, Social
Planning, Sustainable Urban Design, Energy‑Efficient Settlements and
Buildings, Transport Planning and
Environmental Impact Assessment. Students can also take elective courses and
streams in a wide range of related areas, including Urban Ecology,
Architectural and Cultural Heritage, Environmental Law, Professional Ethics
and Planning in Developing Countries.
