Environmental Management & SustainabilityThe Master of Environmental Management and Sustainability has been designed
to cater for the needs of middle level managers in Federal, State and Local
government natural resource management agencies as well as environmental
managers in industry and consultancies both locally and overseas. It is
anticipated that a significant number of the students will already be
employed.
Others will be qualified to enter positions in the areas of policy making;
law enforcement; education and behaviour change; environmental and natural
resource management; habitat rehabilitation; environmental monitoring and
problem solving analyst positions.
There are many organisations actively involved in sustainability issues that
currently employ graduates with sustainability related degrees. Consultation
with staff within these organisations has revealed the gaps in knowledge and
skills of graduates that has been used to design the Master of Environmental
Management and Sustainability program. Graduates will therefore have the
skills currently missing and will be highly desired by these employers:
