Earth Hour at Mawson Lakes

On Saturday, 28 March the School of Natural and Built Environments hosted an Earth Hour on the Mawson Lakes campus for approximately 100 members of the public. Guests were asked to bring along candles to light during the 60 minutes of National Earth Hour participation.

The event included the Adelaide Planetarium Starry Night Show hosted by Martin Lewicki and the Beastie and Leafy Technology Show presented by Janine Slocombe. Guests were then invited to experience Telescopes Under the Adelaide Sky, and opportunity discover more about our constellations and make connections between our solar system and natural life on Earth.
