New Research Project: Islamic Diversity in Australia
Are you a Muslim living in Australia?
Tired of others misrepresenting Islam or what it means to be Muslim?
Researchers at the University of South Australia are interested to hear from you about what it means to be Muslim and what Islam means to you. Islamic Diversity in Australia is a research project to better understand the variety of Muslim experiences and Islamic faith in Australia. We are interested in hearing from Muslim Australians from all walks of life about your faith and how it influences your life and your identity. Whether you are born into the faith or recently converted we want to hear from you.
So if you are a Muslim living in Sydney or Adelaide, over 18 years old and are willing to share your faith in an interview, please contact Gilbert on (08) 8302 2962 or gilbert.caluya@unisa.edu.au for more information on how you can participate. Interviews will be held throughout October and November. All interviews are confidential and voluntary.
This project has been approved by the University of South Australia's Human Research Ethics Committee.
