Media plays a huge role in people’s lives and recent data indicates that:
- 94% of people watch commercial TV on a normal weekday
- 84% read magazines (last issue)
- 83% read newspapers over the last seven days
- Almost 70% listen to commercial radio on a normal weekday
- Around 60% used the internet over the past month
- 28% went to the cinema in the last month
- Around 25% subscribe to pay TV.

Assessing your media options
There are three key areas to consider when assessing media options:
- what is your message?
- who do you want to reach?
- what is the best medium to communicate the message?
