Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) hosted PhD Student
The Mawson Institute has recently entered into a 3 year funding agreement with DSTO to host a PhD student working on adaptive camouflage technology for military applications. Utlising electromaterials, this project will seek to develop flexible, robust camouflage devices that are able to adapt to their environment - akin to the ability of the octopus to alter its colour to blend in with its surroundings. For further information please contact Mawson Institute.
