Phenomics and Bioinformatics Research Centre
Welcome to the Phenomics and Bioinformatics Research Centre (PBRC).
The PBRC aims to conduct fundamental and applied research resulting in the
development and application of computational techniques for the storage,
manipulation, study, quantitative analysis, interpretation and visualisation
of large biological, medical, behavioural and health data sets.
The initial focus of research in the Centre includes the development of
tools and methods for handling large phenotypic datasets to extract
meaningful biological information that will feed into the planning of a
range of plant functional genomics experiments, specifically related to
wheat and barley cereals.
Please note that the PBRC is currently being established. As a consequence,
this website is in a state of development. If you cannot find any specific
information about the centre and its activities, please
contact us.
