This is a new program that will enable you to get some real marketing experience and put your prior learning into practice.  

Details of Program

Applicants will apply and be interviewed to work in teams of two in an organisation sourced for you by the Practicum Coordinator. You will have a contact person within the organisation, and work onsite for two days per week over 15 weeks. Along with the onsite work, you will complete a 2 hour workshop each week.

The Practicum will count as two 4.5 unit courses towards the Bachelor of Management (Marketing).

Prerequisites

Completion of BMPP plus 7 other marketing courses and a GPA of 4.5+ is required.

Assessment for Practicum

You will be assessed by completing a Project Plan (15%), Progress Presentations (15%), Final Presentation (15%) and a Final Report (55%).

Projects

Each project will have an identified marketing problem that incorporates a single dimension of the business. Projects will incorporate basic primary (qualitative) and secondary research, typically including basic analytical outputs including budgeting, timeframes, objectives and recommendations.
