The Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management is the only program of its kind in South Australia and will prepare you for an exciting career in the sporting, events and recreation industries. The program will provide you with the skills, knowledge and qualities to work in a range of fields, including sport and recreation management, event planning and management,
the structure and operation of sports organisations, management of
sports and recreation facilities, sponsorship, understanding consumers
of sport and recreation services and event planning and management.
Students
will gain knowledge about the importance
of leisure to Australian society. Students will also have the
opportunity to
undertake two field placements, allowing them to apply their skills and
knowledge in real-life situations.
