School of Management research approach
The School of Management has a significant research track-record in terms of PhD numbers and publications. The topics researched include human resource management, strategic management, tourism, sports and arts management, ethics and risk management.
 
Our academics have published in international journals including Academy of Management Review, British Journal of Management, Journal of Operational Research, Industrial Relations and Systems Research as well as industry specific academic journals.
 
The research methodologies employed by the School vary considerably from logical positivism, to interpretive, pragmatism, and post-modernism. As with the overall identity of the University of South Australia, the School believes its research should be of immediate use and improve peoples' lives.
