The Support Officer's role is to assist students with changes to their enrolment and general program advice and can help students regarding:

  • Application for credit
  • Program amendment for leave of absence and program withdrawal
  • Request for exemption
  • Course amendment to enrolment
  • Courses required to complete your program
  • Transfer between programs
  • General program enquiries

School board student representatives
The School of Management actively encourages input from students.  We appoint an undergraduate student representative on School Board to provide input to the from a student perspective. If you have any issues you would like raised at School Board, you are encouraged to make contact with your representative.

 In accordance with University policies, the School Board's functions include:

  • Advice on the development of school policy in relation to the teaching, research and consultancy work of the School; 
  • Formulate proposals for changes in academic policy for forwarding to Division Board; 
  • Review the results of student assessment and examinations and report on these matters to Division Board.

Process of complaints
If you have a complaint regarding an academic issue, the process of complaints is as follows:
1. Lecturer concerned
2. Course Coordinator/or Program Director
3. Head of School / Associate Head of School
4. Pro Vice Chancellor
5. Student Ombud

Student feedback 
The School welcomes feedback from students on any aspects of their experience in the University. For example, course content, teaching, facilities, service, etc. We are committed to continually reviewing and improving the quality of teaching and learning as well as providing effective and efficient service. Students are invited to submit any feedback to the Head of School who will ensure that appropriate action is taken.
