Honours Scholarships

 

Are you near the end of your degree and thinking about further study? Have you considered Honours?

Each year, the School of Management will offer up to five $10,000 scholarships for successful third year students to undertake a fourth year Honours program in management. Work with our senior researchers on a project that interests you. The opportunities are endless. Graduate with a qualification that can enhance your career prospects or prepare you for PhD studies. 

To be eligible, you must have successfully completed a third year of university study, be qualified and prepared to undertake a fourth year Honours program in the School of Management. We will award up to five scholarships each year, based on academic performance. If your application is successful, you will receive $10,000 which will be paid throughout your period of Honours study.

Applicant criteria:

  • Applicants must be enrolled in their final year of/or have completed a School of Management undergraduate program

  • Have applied for the DHBB (scholarship recipients must commence the DHBB program in the same year)

  • Have a GPA of at least 5.5 overall; and a third year GPA of 5.5 (in exceptional circumstances, students with a lower GPA may be considered on a case by case basis.

  • Be prepared to enrol in the DHBB program full time with a major in Management

  • Prepare a brief proposal of their thesis

  • Attend an interview with a selection panel

  • The Honour's supervisor must be a School of Management staff member

  • If a successful student does not commence the DHBB program in the year of receiving the scholarship, the scholarship will be rescinded
