If you have completed a Certificate IV or higher, you may be eligible for up to 3 courses (subjects) of additional credit.
Current credit arrangements:
Completed the Advanced Diploma in Management and the SAPOL Sergeants program = 3 electives or
Completed the Associate Diploma in Justice Administration + 5 years and substantive Senior Sergeant and above = 3 electives or
Completed the Police Studies Certificate + 14 years and substantive Senior Sergeant and above = 3 electives
Completed Detective course - up to 1 Division of Business elective determined on a case by case basis
Division of Business Undergraduate programs - students will be transitioned into the DBPL program and credit will be arranged on a case by case basis but will not exceed the maximum of 15 courses credit
Please note: additional credit can only be granted for additional courses that have not previously been credited. For example, if an additional course was used for credit towards an Advanced Diploma, you will not receive credit based on completion of the Advanced Diploma and the additional course.
No more than 3 extra courses can be credited. The 9 compulsory courses must be completed.
