Employment prospects
Graduates tend to be employed in a
range of management occupations both in the public and private sectors,
however they should realise that they may not necessarily step in to a
management position immediately after graduation. Generally, students
take up positions as graduate management trainees. Their subsequent
promotion depends on their communication skills and personality, in
addition to their graduate qualifications.
It should be noted that students who undertake this degree tend to
gravitate towards careers in large organisations rather than small or
family-owned companies. Many UniSA Management graduates work for
multinational companies, and governments both in Australia and overseas.
