Administrative
managers work with and through others to collect, analyse, present and
manage the information on which business decisions are made. By
co-ordinating technology, people and processes within the structure of an
organisation, administrative managers lead and direct others to achieve an
organisation's objectives.
The Bachelor of Management (Administrative
Management) provides graduates with the skills and professional knowledge to
manage the information and services necessary for the effective functioning
of a successful organisation. It combines the theoretical aspects of
administrative management with practical, hands-on technical skills, which
are valued in today's workplaces.
Graduates are able to coordinate,
collaborate and cooperate within the day-to-day management functions of an
organisation. They have the capacity to make decisions across the various
functions of an organisation, especially in small to medium-sized
enterprises. They have a wide range of skills that are highly transferable,
enabling them to choose from a wide range of roles, employers and industries.
