Welcome Workshop
The Disability Service will be running a 'Welcome Workshop' in February 2009 for commencing students with disabilities. Find out about services, meet other students and get some tips for a successful start to your university study.
Light lunch included. All welcome.

Eligibility
A disability includes any impairment or medical condition which may affect a student's ability to undertake a program of study successfully. The definition of disability is broad and is defined in the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) which includes:
- hearing impairment
- learning disability
- mobility difficulties
- vision impairment
- medical condition
- psychiatric illness
A disability may be permanent, short-term or episodic in nature.
