Organising someone to meet you when you arrive

The University provides a free reception service for new international students. You can be met at the airport and taken to your accommodation. Any family member who accompanies you as a dependant (e.g. partner/husband/wife and children) is also eligible for this service. To organise this service simply download and complete the On-arrival reception booking form.

To help us organise your on-arrival reception you will need to fill in the form once you have your flight details confirmed and know your date and time of arrival in Adelaide.

If your children are coming with you it is important that you write the age of the child on the On-arrival reception booking form.

For more information about UniSA's On-Arrival Reception service please visit the On-Arrival Reception website.

On-arrival reception service

You will be required to book temporary accommodation before you leave your home country. Options range from budget-priced backpacker style accommodation through to hotels and serviced apartments. You will be responsible for booking and paying for your accommodation and will need to make direct contact with the accommodation providers who will require credit card details or a deposit to confirm your reservation.

If you require assistance with temporary accommodation or wish to organise long-term accommodation please visit the UniSA Accommodation Services website.

Settling into your new environment will be easier if you book your Adelaide accommodation before you leave your home country. By doing this you will be sure of somewhere to stay when you first arrive in Adelaide.

Once you have completed the On-arrival reception booking form and your data is entered into the booking system, you will receive an automatic response email from the On-Arrival Coordinator to confirm your booking.

Please make sure the address of your accommodation is on the on-arrival booking form.
