What is the latest date to withdraw from a course?

If you wish to withdraw from a course, you are strongly advised to do so prior to the final date for payment of fees in each semester. If you withdraw after the payment date, you will not receive a refund and you will receive a grade of 'Withdraw without Fail' or 'Withdrawn Fail' for the course. This will be recorded in your academic record.

If you wish to not pay fees for a particular course then you must withdraw before the Census date for that course. If you withdraw after the Census date you are still liable for the full amount of fees and will receive either a 'Withdraw without Fail' or 'Withdraw Fail' for the course, dependent upon the time you withdraw. As above, this grade will be recorded in your academic record.

What is the latest date to withdraw from a Summer School course?

This is different for each course. Please check with Campus Central.

Will I get a refund of my fees if I withdraw from a course?

If you withdraw from a course before the Census date, you are eligible for a refund for that course fee. Refunds are generally not paid out to you, but will be credited to the next study period enrolment at this university.

What is the latest date to completely withdraw from my whole program?

You may withdraw from your program at any time. However, you should be aware that if you withdraw from the program before the start of classes, you will be eligible for a greater refund of your tuition fees than if you withdraw later in the study period. Please see your fees policy (which you would have received upon being accepted at the University).

Before you withdraw from your program, you must see an International Student Officer at the Learning and Teaching Unit on your campus.
