You might be interested to know that UniSA graduates hundreds of students with disabilities each year. If you decide to study at UniSA and have a disability or medical condition that you think will impact on your university studies then you will not be alone.
Why study at UniSA
There are many reasons why students with a disability or medical condition choose to study at UniSA. We have:

In addition to this we have disability advisers available on every campus who provide a range of free, confidential services.
Services
Services can include:
- assistance to resolve physical or learning access issues
- assisting students to minimise the impact of disability related or health issues on their study
- the preparation of an Access Plan to help facilitate access to services and adjustments
- access to adaptive technologies and library based services
- provision of print materials in alternative format
- alternative forms of assessment and curriculum modification
- alternative examination arrangements
- equipment loan
- liaison with academic staff
- information about your rights and responsibilities under the Disability Discrimination Act, 1992
- information and referral to internal and external service providers
- information about disclosure
These services are provided by professional Disability Advisers through the Learning and Teaching Unit located at each metropolitan UniSA Campus.
