RESA online workshops
The online RESA (Research Education Support Activities) workshop series linked from this page are designed for social science, business and humanities research students. They can be used to support the face to face workshops, or they can be used by students who cannot attend workshops on campus. The humanities are academic disciplines which study the human condition using methods that are primarily analytical, critical or speculative. Among the humanities are languages, literature, history, philosophy, religion, visual and performing arts, and sometimes anthropology, communication studies, cultural studies, and linguistics. The social sciences are those academic disciplines concerned with the empirical study of the social life of human groups, animals and individuals. Among the social sciences are anthropology, archaeology, philology, communication studies, cultural studies, demography, economics, human geography, history, linguistics, media studies, political science, psychology, social work, and sociology.
