Online teaching and learning
The University of South Australia has a strong commitment to the use
of online teaching and learning to enable student-engaged and flexible modes of education.

UniSAnet
UniSAnet is the current online teaching and learning platform of the University of South Australia. It is available to all staff who wish to create online learning resources and interactive activities. It is designed so all staff are able to develop online teaching and learning without a high level of technical expertise.
At the end of 2011 UniSAnet will be turned off and all online learning environments at UniSA will be based in a learning management system (LMS) called Moodle. Trials of the LMS are in progress in each Division. A progressive conversion of new and existing courses to the new environment has been scheduled over a 30 month period by the Deans: Teaching and Learning.
Online Education Support provides support for UniSA staff engaged in developing online learning and teaching environments.
Social Software
External online environments where students can author, such as
wikis and
blogs, can be incorporated into
UniSAnet content objects.
