Support for Staff
Providing timely and effective support for staff is a key priority learnonline.
Considerable resources have been dedicated to ensuring that all staff receive the requisite training and support to enable them to be confident and competent using the tools within learnonline.
To support staff the following training and support resources will be available:
- learnonline briefing sessions that will provide a high level overview of the project, key activities and milestones and a demonstration of the Moodle Learning Management System and associated tools
- Formal face-to-face workshops that will provide training on specific Moodle capabilities and associated tools
- Online resources which will include quick reference guides and instructional videos on Moodle and associated tools
- On call coaching and support from Academic Developers and Online Advisers who will be dedicated to supporting staff moving to or using the new learning platform
As online resources are developed the topics
currently covered within the face to face workshops will be replaced by an
online equivalent resource.
