Virtual Classroom
A Virtual Classroom is an online learning space where students and instructors interact synchronously.

Typically the instructor provides course content through course management applications, multimedia resources, the Internet, video conferencing, etc. Students receive the content and communicate with the teacher via the same technologies. |

The current Virtual Classroom application within the University is Centra; although there are other applications also being used.
One of the key objectives of the project is to determine what requirements the University has for Virtual Classroom capabilities and to undertake a formal analysis of what is currently being used (and what is currently available in the market) to identify the optimal Virtual Classroom solution for UniSA.
A Virtual Classroom Working Group has been formed, with members drawn from across the University, who will assist the learnonline Project Team in this activity.
