Project Timeline
Due to the scale and complexity of the project, learnonline will be introduced in stages.
Within each stage Divisions and Schools will determine which courses are moved to the new platform.
The LMS Project has been set the following targets:
- By the beginning of Study Period 2 in 2010 5% of UniSA courses will be delivered on the new learning platform
- By the beginning of Study Period 5 in 2010 35% of UniSA courses will be delivered on the new learning platform
- By the beginning of Study Period 2 2011 85% of UniSA courses will be delivered on the new learning platform
- By the beginning of Study Period 5 2011 100% of UniSA courses will be delivered on the new learning platform
To meet these targets courses will need to be converted to, or created within, learnonline in the months immediately preceding each Study Period (i.e. 5% of courses will need to be converted prior to the start of SP 2, 2010, 30% of courses will need to be converted/created prior to the start of SP 5 2010 and so on).
UniSAnet will de decommissioned at the end of 2011.
