Bachelor of Laws

During the course of their studies, law students gain a profound insight into modern society, while developing the necessary skills for successful legal practice. The Bachelor of Laws degree is the academic qualification required for legal practice. The program focuses on the core underlying principles of law and their application in a world of change. It also promotes critical forensic and analytical skills.

The program is offered in 3 trimesters commencing in February, June and September (subject to demand) and is equivalent to a 4 year degree but can be completed within 3 calendar years. Some students may choose to study over 4 years, but given this flexible and innovative trimester system, students can complete the program well ahead of their contemporaries at other law schools. UniSA offers the only undergraduate Commonwealth supported law program of this kind in the country.
