members of this group have interests within the following areas:
Generally experts in laser diagnostic systems such as:

Utrasound and its application in colloid science
Interests in the frequency dependent properties of colloidal systems which is generally measured using Dielectric Spectroscopy.
A major research interest in particle charging in nonpolar media.
Close association with the Defence Science and Technology Organisation investigating various aspects of light propagation in the atmosphere.
The group is also involved in a number of smaller projects including:

If you want to carry out a PhD working in the group a number of PhD scholarships are available.
