Universal Laboratory Networking System (ULabNet)
The Laser Light Scattering
Laboratory at the University of South Australia has developed sophisticated
instrumentation which has been widely used by many researchers from outside
the laboratory. It would be more convenient for them and it would increase
instrument utilization if remote users could also gain access to the
instruments.
ULabNet is a generic remote laboratory based on NetMeeting. While
incorporating a solid video, audio and program application sharing it
maintains the portability allowing a number of users after a simple
installation. ULabNet is specifically designed for laboratory and
research groups who would like to share their control application
economically and effortlessly over the internet.
