Welcome to the Knowledge-Based Intelligent Engineering Systems Centre
Located within the Mawson Lakes Campus of the University of South Australia, the KES Centre is a research concentration within the School of Electrical and Information Engineering.
The KES centre is focused on modelling, analysis and design in the areas of intelligent information systems, physiological sciences systems, electronic commerce and service engineering.
The Centre aims to provide applied research support to the Information, Defence and Health Industries as below:
- Knowledge-Based Intelligent Systems Implementation using conventional and artificial intelligence paradigms including neural nets, intelligent agents and evolutionary computing techniques.
- Intelligent Medical Systems and Health Physics.
- Intelligent Communication and E-commerce.
- Neural Engineering Systems.
- Hybrid Paradigms in solving Real-World Problems.
