Australian microscopy & microanalysis research facility (AMMRF)

AMMRF is a joint venture between Australian university-based microscopy and microanalysis centres. Adelaide is one of six nodes across Australia which provides access to a vast array of instrumentation for use to all areas of nanotechnology and biotechnology research.

The Adelaide node - the South Australian Research Facility (SARF) - was officially launched in February 2008 and comprises research facilities located at all three South Australian universities, Adelaide Microscopy at the University of Adelaide, School of Chemistry, Physics & Earth Sciences at Flinders University and The Wark at UniSA.

The SARF Node Director is Prof Hans Griesser.
