University-wide Structured Program

The University-wide Structured Program for research degree students will assist with their studies. This Program consists of several modules including induction, proposal writing and thesis writing. Sessions will be held for all commencing research students. Web-based resources will also be available in due course to support these sessions and to provide resources for students who cannot attend the on-campus sessions.

Participating in these sessions will give students the information they need to make the best possible start to their candidature.

ATN LEAP

The University of South Australia, in collaboration with the four other ATN Universities offers a number of on-line modules through the ATN Learning Employment Aptitudes Program (LEAP).

Modules offered include Project Management, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Communication, Technological and Commercial Development, and Public Policy and are designed to provide postgraduate students with the opportunity to increase their employment prospects through an increased awareness of key issues that increase their employability.

All postgraduate students at the five ATN Universities are eligible to participate but the modules are likely to hold the most value for those students in their final year (or equivalent) of candidature. Modules can be undertaken independently at any time or can be undertaken with a moderator at set times throughout the year. You will be advised of module starting dates via your student email account. There is no cost to participate in the modules.
