Research and consultancy
Research and consultancy is well established within the Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment at both the Mawson Lakes and City East campuses.
Division researchers have established a good record of funding from national competitive grants, and a significant proportion of the research is conducted in cooperation with an extensive and expanding network of national and international industrial and research organisations.
Assisting with the viability of research is the close proximity of Technology Park to the Mawson Lakes campus and the strong connections with the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) and many other major organisations.
The Division and it's associated five academic schools are associated with the leading research institutes of the university and responsible for five university funded research centres, eight university recognised research groups and various non-university funded research areas.
