2010 ITEE Research Awards

The Division's second annual Research Award Ceremony was held on Tuesday November 16th, 2010.

The Awards recognise and reward high level research performance or achievement by researchers and research staff and celebrate their contribution to the Division of Information Technology, Engineering and the Environment.

Distinguished Scholar

Early Career Researcher

Mid Career Researcher

Award Recipient: Associate Professor Enzo Lombi,
Centre for Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation


Supported Researcher of the Year

Award Recipient: Professor Lakhmi Jain,
School of Electrical and Information Engineering

Professor Lakhmi Jain is awarded the 2010 ITEE Supported Researcher of the Year. This award is based on research income, publications and PhD completions for the last two years.


Research Support Staff of the Year

Award Recipient: Mr Tim Golding,
School of Natural and Built Environment


2010 Leading Research School

School of Computer and Information Science

In 2010, the School of Computer and Information Science averaged 2.8 weighted publication points per FTE academic staff member.


2010 Leading Research Centre

SA Water Centre for Water Management and Reuse

In 2010, the SA Water Centre for Water Management and Reuse was the leading research centre based on all round performance using combined metrics of research income per FTE, weighted publication points and percentage of journals in A* and A journals.
